Research Group Sustainability Impact Awards
Utopia-The-Edit magazine propose to run a competition where research groups in academic institutes can demonstrate the actual or potential impact of their research in the domain of any of the UN SDG categories. It can be a service, software programme/system or any entity using AI or ICT as a core component.
This will afford the group the opportunity to highlight their work to global academic and commercial communities, access data-sets if necessary, engage with potential early adopters, and to network and collaborate with other research groups. For those groups that are interested, there will be a channel opened to potential investors in their technology.
There will be annual sectorial awards, adjudicated by an international panel of academic and commercial judges, to those groups profiled.
